Gallery & Art Work

Yolanda works most frequently in Oil and Watercolor. Her work is primarily realistic employing classical compostion and tromp l'oeil techniques.

However, she frequently incorporates cultural icons including traditional textiles in her compositions, and her work, while remaining figurative and realistic, occasionally touches upon the symbolist.

Commissions

In addition to her finished fine art, Yolanda paints murals, faux finish and tromp l'oeil as well as portraits on commission.

  • Murals & Faux Finishes: Yolanda has long explored tromp l'oeil techniques as well as the reproduction of the subtle effects of complex textiles in her work. She has more recently found a natural extension of these interests in creating murals, decorative and faux finish interiors for clients. Learn More | Gallery
  • Portraits: Early in her formal training Yolanda was fortunate to study the under Paul Emsley, the recent winner of BP Portrait Prize held at the National Portrait Gallery in London.
